PHOTOS OF AFRICA is an established production company that produces travelogues, documentaries and promotional material of South African and surrounds for more than eighteen years. Our productions are locally and internationally known and broadcasted, as well as displayed on our online South African travel channel (southafricatravelchannel.com) to allow the large multi-national entities, medium enterprises as well as the small establishment owner the opportunity to partake in the tourism marketing benefits that were normally reserved for the ‘big guys’ on a ‘small guy’ budget.
We are a roving film production unit that frequently covers the diverse regions of our country for commissioned projects from governments, universities as well as the international private sector. Currently our travel documentaries about Southern Africa resorts and regions are being broadcasted daily in 30 000 hotel rooms, guesthouses and game farms around the country. Our annual growth rate is approximately 25% and a detailed report of all resorts where our material is broadcasted is given to all our valued clients once a year, or on request.

 360° degree imagery or virtual tours as they are commonly known are a very popular and powerful type of rich media. Photos of Africa virtual tours are great for helping to sell a destination or product (emotive) and provides the credibility that will allow a potential client to make a decision quickly. They relay information in great detail and are best used to give a very real feel of a room, lodge or location.We use the HDR technique to make our images look as realistic as possible, so you can "feel like you are really there".)

360° Video allows the viewer to observe video footage onscreen as usual, but with the ability to 'control the camera' through a full 360°.
By using the computer's mouse the viewer has complete control of the fully interactive video allowing them to choose which area they wish to view at any point in time. The viewer may also watch the video multiple times observing a different view each time.
